Director of User Insights
As head of Design Research at Speck Design, Katie Peters helps infuse the company’s innovation and design processes with insight into the user experience. Katie brings over 20 years of design research experience in ethnography, product development, branding, packaging, usability, and messaging research. She has worked with clients including Microsoft, Pepsi, HP, Panasonic, Intuit, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, and PayPal.
Katie has a B.A. in Sociology from Haverford College and has worked across industries including consumer, hi tech, industrial, finance, business-to-business. She has an avid curiosity for what makes consumers and businesses tick. She spends her down time hiking, cycling, and exploring the national parks with her family.
