LITTLE VINE

Branding / Environment Design / Digital

The Little Vine redesign was an exercise in updating an already successful brand. The local San Francisco wine and cheese market needed a way to stay current in their thriving but minuscule storefront. We tapped into the roots of the North Beach identity to give patrons the experience of a store cut from the historical context of a late 70’s southern Italian town, but painted with a retro-futuristic brush. Dull greens paired with heavy walnut grain set the palate while extra attention is paid to providing an environmental experience that distances itself from other retailers in the city. The presence of gilt and bounty are balanced with a grittier finish so characteristic of San Francisco’s preeminent boho neighborhood.
